Teams registering by June 21 may enter the following categories:
Open Mixed (most common), Masters Mixed, Grand
Masters Mixed, BCS, Youth, Open Men, Open Women
These are 500m races.
A four boat tournament will be held at 3pm and is open to
the public. Registration for the PDBR tournament will be held
at the event until 2 pm, spaces limited to 72.
The tournament is best of three 200 meter races.
Registration Info
Races will be held on the scenic Monongahela River at Station
Square Docks. Teams from across the States and Canada will
compete in 500 meter races for pride, awards and Eastern Regional
Dragon Boat Association 2008 circuit points.
The Monongahela River, once the busiest commercial waterway
in America, is now a peaceful river making its way to the
Ohio River and beyond.
Race safety is coordinated by Three Rivers Rowing who is
recognized nationally for its safety procedures. The Pittsburgh
Dragon Boat Races Safety Team will be monitoring and assisting
the race from safety boats, the docks and land.
