Charity Page

All funds raised by participants in the Dick's Sporting Goods Marathon will go towards one specific outreach program at TRRA called First Row.

The mission of the First Row program is to engage Pittsburgh’s urban high school girls in a community rowing program that cultivates self-discipline, confidence, team-building and improved health. Money raised will go towards covering transportation, equipment, apparel, race/travel expenses, swim lessons and coaching staff for the team in 2014.

To find out more about First Row watch the 2012-2013 video to hear the girls talk about the team at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrDXjtAC2UU#t=0 and/or go to www.thefirstrow.org

We will provide red First Row t-shirts to all of our team runners. They are red dri-fit t-shirts. We prefer to have our runners and volunteers wear these shirts on race day.

I can't run, but can I still help?
You can volunteer on race day helping at the starting line or in other capacities.

You can help fundraise by spreading the word about our fundraising page and asking your friends to donate.
