Fox Chapel Crew Club invites you to support those touched by cancer at the
2nd Annual FC Biathlon to be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Fox Chapel
Area High School. Many of us have family members or friends who have been
touched by cancer – and through competing in the biathlon, you can help
a local group that is there when people we care about face this crisis in
their lives.
Proceeds from the biathlon will benefit Gilda’s
Club Southwestern PA. Gilda’s Club provides emotional and social
support for people with cancer, as well as their families and friends.
The event consists of indoor rowing and running, and categories include Junior (13 and Under), Open Competitive, Recreational (Non-Competitive), Competitive Masters, and a Fun Run/Walk. Pre-registered competitors will receive an event t-shirt, and prizes will be awarded in all categories except the Fun Run/Walk.
Location: The event will start at noon and take place at Fox Chapel Area High School, located at 611 Field Club Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15238.
