A LONG TALK COMMUNITY CONVERSATION

HEINZ HISTORY CENTER BLACK HISTORY MONTH VIRTUAL SERIES
Want to include your student in the celebration? Families can attend a virtual session through the Heinz History Center on February 17th, 18th, 23rd, and 24th. Info can be found here.
I appreciate how these virtual events create opportunities for people and families to learn, reflect, and connect with their community. The DEI movie night and community conversations sound like meaningful ways to encourage thoughtful discussion and broaden perspectives. I also like that the Black History Month series provides students with an accessible opportunity to engage with history from home. EaglerCraft can be a fun way to spend free time, but I think educational events like these offer valuable opportunities to learn something new.
