The Boathouse Blog: Who, What, When, Where, Why?

Three Rivers Rowing Association (TRRA) introduced The Boathouse Blog the week following the 38th Head of the Ohio Regatta. This article lays out the basics of the Blog and contains useful links to keep you in the loop.

Who:
The Boathouse Blog is for anybody who uses the boathouse or wants to use the boathouse. This includes rowers, paddlers, dragon boaters, volunteers, and visitors.
At TRRA, we manage two beautiful boathouses–each of them representing decades of history and progress.
Boathouses are not only homes for boats; they are places for building community, hanging out, making new friends, exercising, and throwing parties. In other words, they are homes for humans, too.
What:
A resource and archive for up-to-date information about TRRA events, regatta recaps, boathouse stories, rowing tips, and more.
The archive of articles will live on threeriversrowing.org/news and are designed to be timeless, meaning they will be relevant for years to come.

When:
Our communications team aims to release one article a week or so.
Articles are scheduled in alignment with the greater organizational and global calendar (regattas, events, holidays, and the seasons).

The Three Rivers Rowing Website serves as the primary living space for The Boathouse Blog.

The primary purpose of maintaining The Boathouse Blog is to amplify and share the great stories unfolding every day at TRRA. Our members are energetic, friendly, helpful, and engaged. We want to continue developing a community of genuine connection through story-telling and water-based athletics.
